Las Vegas man killed in wrong-way bike crash

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A 31-year-old Las Vegas bike rider died after a wrong-way crash alongside State Route 160, based on the Nevada State police.

The crash occurred on August 26, at round 12:01 a.m. alongside State Route 160, which is west of the Las Vegas valley.

Carlisle Yazzie, 31, of Las Vegas, was recognized by police because the bike rider who died on the scene of the crash, police mentioned.

The preliminary investigation indicated that the bike rider was touring southbound within the fallacious route alongside State Route 160, based on the Nevada State police.

On the identical time, the driving force of a sedan was touring northbound on State Route 160 within the far left journey lane when the motorcyclist struck the entrance of the sedan, ejecting him from the bike, police mentioned.

The Nevada State Police Freeway Patrol Southern Command has investigated 41 deadly crashes leading to 42 fatalities in 2025.
