Residence constructing hearth east of Las Vegas Strip displaces 4 individuals

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — 4 persons are displaced after the residences they have been residing in went up in flames Friday morning.

The fireplace was reported shortly after 8 a.m. within the second-story of an house complicated within the 2500 block of Van Patten Road, close to Sahara Avenue, east of Las Vegas Boulevard.

In line with the Clark County Hearth Division, six engines and a truck responded to the blaze, and the fireplace which affected two items was knocked down inside six minutes. One individual was handled on the scene for minor smoke inhalation. 4 adults have been displaced and are being assisted by the American Pink Cross.

No estimate on damages was launched. An investigation into the reason for the fireplace is underway.
