Las Vegas Planning Fee passes proposed emergency companies communication middle in northwest valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Las Vegas Planning Fee unanimously voted to cross a proposed practically 96,000-square-foot emergency companies communication middle within the northwest Las Vegas valley.

The proposal handed 7-0 on Tuesday night throughout the planning fee assembly. The Land Use Entitlement undertaking request was for a two-story, 95,984 sq. foot authorities facility that may home an emergency companies communication middle on 66.25 acres of land on the northeast nook of Rome Boulevard and Shaumber Street close to the 215 and Centennial Parkway.

The Metropolis of Las Vegas Planning Fee unanimously voted to cross a proposed practically 96,000-square-foot emergency companies communication middle within the northwest Las Vegas valley.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Division stated the Pink Rock Communications middle will function a joint communication facility designed to “strengthen and modernize” 911 companies throughout geographically numerous places.

LVMPD’s assertion on the communication middle reads in full:

“The Red Rock Communications Center will serve as a cutting-edge, joint communications facility designed to strengthen and modernize 911 services across geographically diverse locations. Once completed, the center will bring together multiple agencies under one roof to enable seamless connectivity, ensure mission-critical redundancy, and improve emergency response services. By fostering collaboration and building regional resilience, the center will set a new standard for public safety communications in our area.”

The proposal will transfer on to the Las Vegas Metropolis Council for ultimate approval.
