North Las Vegas man killed in single automobile crash on I-15

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A North Las Vegas man is lifeless after Nevada State police mentioned he misplaced management of his truck and hit a concrete barrier alongside I-15 north of Craig Street.

Troopers responded to the crash on Monday round 9:30 p.m. in North Las Vegas.

Hugo Cesar Arriet Lujan, 48, was recognized as the motive force of a Ford F150 pickup truck, which police mentioned was touring northbound on I-15 close to Craig Street.

Lujan failed to keep up his journey lane and misplaced management of his truck, then traveled into the skin shoulder, hanging a concrete barrier, and entered a dust shoulder, NSP mentioned. Lujan was pronounced lifeless on the scene of the crash.

The Nevada State Police Freeway Patrol Southern Command has investigated 42 deadly crashes leading to 43 fatalities in 2025. The crash stays beneath investigation.
