Pirro arrests 2 DC teenagers in congressional intern's killing

U.S. Lawyer for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro stated Friday that two youngsters have been arrested and shall be charged with first diploma homicide in reference to the dying of a congressional intern earlier this summer season. 

Eric Tarpinian-Jachym, a 21-year-old intern within the workplace of Rep. Ron Estes (R-Kan.), was fatally shot on June 30 when caught within the crossfire of a drive-by taking pictures as he walked down the road in Northwest Washington.

“This killing underscores why we need the authority to prosecute these younger kids,” Pirro stated.

“Because they’re not kids; they’re criminals — they’re violent criminals. We have to hold them accountable.”
