Aged man discovered lifeless inside northwest Las Vegas residence fireplace

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — An aged man is lifeless after a fireplace at a house within the northwest Las Vegas valley, based on fireplace officers.

Las Vegas Hearth and Rescue crews have been known as to the scene on Monday shortly after 11:30 a.m. within the 7000 Feather Pine Road close to Elkhorn and Cimarron roads.

A caller reported seeing smoke coming from a single-story residence and tried to inform the residents inside, however was unable to take action.

Hearth crews have been capable of extinguish the fireplace and find the deceased aged man inside the house.

The reason for the fireplace stays undetermined and is below energetic investigation. There may be an estimated $100,000 in injury to the house.
