'The Wizard of Oz' debuts at Sphere Las Vegas

LAS VEGAs (KLAS) — “The Wizard of Oz” debuted at Sphere with a yellow carpet premiere. The 1939 traditional has been reimagined to fill Sphere’s inside show airplane, full with 4D experiences and newly enhanced audio parts.

Stars in attendance included: Kris Jenner, Rosanna Arquette, Skylar Astin, Marissa Bode, Holly Madison, Steve Schirripa, Jill Martin and extra.

Additionally in attendance was Judy Garland’s daughter, Lorna Luft.

“The work that went into this, I’m so grateful to everyone who worked on it,” she informed Las Vegas Now.

“The Wizard of Oz” at Sphere is a totally immersive expertise that transports audiences, making them really feel like they’ve stepped contained in the traditional movie and are touring down the yellow brick highway alongside Dorothy and her associates.

The expertise begins with the Exosphere, with all content material created in-house by Sphere Studios. Company enter the venue through the Atrium, which has been utterly remodeled, immersing audiences within the Land of Oz.
