LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — It’s the beginning of a brand new college yr on the College of Nevada, Las Vegas. College students and fogeys are making last preparations forward of the primary day of lessons.
For pupil athletes like junior swimmer Evan Sproul, balancing lessons and competitions requires planning and accountability.

“We’re getting our textbooks and stuff, and we have a lot of team meetings right now, so it’s a lot of preparation mostly for the team,” stated Sproul. “We want our team GPA to be up so anything that gets us there will be great. “Make sure you go to class and make sure you give as much effort as you can,” stated Muavesi. “Professors are always willing to work with you when you put in the effort and show that you care.”
“Prepare to fail for a test. It’s okay. It happens to everybody,” stated Sproul. “Don’t be too hard on yourself. Try to have some fun. Study but keep it a balanced schedule.”
