Metropolis of Las Vegas warns residents about planning fee e mail rip-off

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Metropolis of Las Vegas is warning residents about an e mail rip-off showing to be from the Planning Fee.

In accordance with a submit on the Metropolis of Las Vegas’s social media pages, a faux e mail goes round claiming to be from the Planning Fee and asking the recipient to pay an “application approval fee.”

The Metropolis posted a video instance of the e-mail, proven partly within the picture under.

The Metropolis stated this e mail shouldn’t be authentic.

The Metropolis is warning anybody who has recieved this e mail to not click on any hyperlinks, obtain any attachments, or comply with the directions within the message.

Residents are reminded to remain alert, shield their data, and when unsure, attain out to the town on to confirm.
