LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — NBA veteran Marcus Morris is not dealing with fraud and theft costs in Las Vegas.

In keeping with courtroom paperwork, the fees towards former NBA participant Marcus Morris have been dismissed Wednesday after he paid off the money owed he owed to 2 Las Vegas casinos.

He confronted costs after writing checks totaling $265,000 to the Wynn Las Vegas Resort and On line casino and the MGM Grand Resort and On line casino in 2024 for a line of credit score to gamble. He was arrested on July 27 in Florida on a warrant as a result of there have been inadequate funds in Morris’s checking account to cowl what he owed.

After his arrest, Morris stated on his Instagram account that what bothered him most was “(expletive) with my character first and foremost and putting me in jail in front of my family.”

He stated he thought he had extra time to repay the cash and denied that there was ever any fraud concerned.

Morris, a free agent, final performed through the 2023-24 season.
