LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — About 100 employees who clear and gas up RTC buses in Southern Nevada have rejected the newest contract supply and approved a strike if vital, in accordance with a union official.

These Utility workers and Cleaners play a critical role for the RTC and deserve the same wages as their counterparts. Many of our members have also attended bargaining sessions with Silver State Transportation, witnessing for themselves that this company does not value them. We don’t want to strike for the sake of our riders, but will continue to stand up for working families and better service.”
The union intends to rally at a Jan. 9, 2025, RTC assembly forward of scheduled mediation periods in January, Lynn mentioned.
