LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Division sergeant tragically died Tuesday following a current leukemia prognosis, LVMPD introduced Tuesday.

LVMPD Sgt. Justin Williams was rushed into emergency surgical procedure Tuesday morning and tragically handed away. LVMPD escorted him from the hospital to Palm Mortuary in Downtown Las Vegas.

“We will miss you, Justin, more than words can say,” LVMPD mentioned in a social media put up Tuesday night. “Thank you, Justin, for your compassion and caring for this community.”
