UNLV Faculty of Nursing hosts sixth annual nurse camp

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The UNLV Faculty of Nursing kicked off its sixth annual Nurse Camp, welcoming 90 highschool college students from throughout Nevada who’re exploring a future profession in nursing.

The immersive, hands-on program on the College of Nevada, Las Vegas runs in two periods, July 7 to 11 and July 14 to 18, and is designed to offer college students a sensible preview of nursing college and the healthcare career.

All through the week, campers will rotate between three main places: UNLV’s foremost campus, the Scientific Simulation Heart on the college’s Shadow Lane campus, and College Medical Heart.
