Las Vegas, 27, man faces homicide cost in Arizona capturing

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A 27-year-old Las Vegas man faces fees within the capturing loss of life of one other man on Saturday, authorities stated.

Quintin Antonio Vesga, at present recovering in a Las Vegas hospital from a gunshot wound to his hand, was arrested on a cost of second-degree homicide by deputies from the Mohave County Sheriff’s Workplace (MCSO). The capturing occurred in Topock, Arizona.

Vesga was detained when police had been referred to as to a Topock residence on a report of gunshots. A second caller advised police somebody had been shot.

MCSO deputies noticed an harm to Vesga’s left hand, and entered the residence. Once they discovered Dennis Wayne Morris, 67, of Topock, lifeless, detectives had been referred to as to take over the investigation.

“The investigation revealed that Vesga had been consuming illegal drugs and alcohol during the evening of the 4th,” in response to a social media submit by MCSO officers.

“Believing he was having a nightmare, Vesga obtained a firearm and shot himself in the hand. Vesga then began firing the weapon inside the residence, ultimately shooting the victim several times,” the submit stated.

Upon his launch, Vesga will likely be booked into the Mohave County Grownup Detention Facility in Kingman, MCSO officers stated.
