Clark County responds to fireside at Las Vegas Strip lodge parking storage

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A hearth broke out within the parking storage of a Las Vegas Strip lodge within the early morning hours of the Fourth of July.

The Clark County Fireplace Division responded to The Cromwell Resort, positioned at 3595 South Las Vegas Boulevard, shortly after 6:30 a.m. on July 4 after studies of a hearth.

The studies indicated there was a hearth in a storage room within the parking storage, based on Deputy Fireplace Chief Brian O’Neal.

Arriving fireplace crews observed that smoke was seen from the fourth ground of the parking storage. Crews then discovered the storage room on fireplace with sprinklers activated.

Fireplace crews had been capable of extinguish the hearth by pulling hoselines from the engines to the fourth ground of the storage and overhauled the hearth space of any remaining burning materials.

The reason for the hearth is below investigation and crews remained on scene as of 8:30 a.m., O’Neal mentioned.

CCFD responded with six engines, three rescues, two vans, heavy rescue, two battalion chiefs, and a couple of fireplace investigators for a complete of 46 personnel.
