Freeway blocked after rollover crash on I-11 close to Spaghetti Bowl; lanes reopen after 3 hours

UPDATE: Preliminary studies from Nevada State Police indicated the crash was in a southbound lane of Interstate 11. The crash occurred on northbound I-11.

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A rollover crash on northbound Interstate 11/U.S. 95 at Rancho Drive blocked the freeway Thursday night time for about three hours close to the Spaghetti Bowl.

Nevada State Police shut down all northbound lanes after a black Toyota Tundra pickup truck rolled, trapping the driving force. Emergency responders extricated the driving force from the automobile and he was taken to an space hospital with unknown accidents.

The crash was reported at about 5:25 p.m. Northbound lanes remained blocked till about 8:30 p.m., when troopers opened two lanes heading towards the West valley, away from the Spaghetti Bowl.
