LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – The $130 million Summerlin Parkway Interchange challenge is predicted to convey nightly and in a single day closures to the world earlier than the tip of June.
The closures will happen alongside the 215 Beltway between Far Hills Avenue and Summerlin Parkway on Wednesday, June 25, and Thursday, June 26. The closures are wanted to set precast girders for the Summerlin Parkway bridge widening.
Northbound Closure: 8 p.m. Wednesday to five a.m. Thursday, June 26
All mainline lanes on CC-215 northbound might be closed between Far Hills Avenue and Summerlin Parkway. Northbound site visitors might be detoured to the Summerlin Parkway offramp after which again onto the CC-215 mainline north of the Summerlin Parkway interchange.
Southbound Closure: 8 p.m. Thursday to five a.m. Friday, June 27
All mainline lanes on CC-215 southbound might be closed between Summerlin Parkway and Far Hills Avenue. The detour for southbound site visitors might be to exit at Summerlin Parkway and head east on Summerlin Parkway to Anasazi Drive. Motorists will then take Anasazi Drive south to Far Hills Avenue and go west on Far Hills Avenue again to CC – 215.
The challenge consists of the reconfiguration of interchange ramps, building of a brand new flyover ramp from southbound CC-215 to eastbound Summerlin Parkway, new bridges, widening of the prevailing Summerlin Parkway bridge, and three new path bridges to increase the Metropolis of Las Vegas Path throughout CC-215.
