Man discovered lifeless in desert space of south Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A person was discovered lifeless with obvious gunshot wounds in a desert space in Las Vegas Saturday.

Police acquired a name simply after 7 a.m. reporting a person was lifeless within the 17000 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard close to Sloan Highway. Responding officers discovered the person affected by what gave the impression to be gunshot wounds, police stated.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Division murder detectives responded to the scene and took over the investigation, which stays ongoing.
