Man critically injured when struck by suspected DUI driver

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — One man is hospitalized, and one other man is dealing with DUI fees following a Wednesday morning crash in southeast Las Vegas.

Based on Las Vegas Metropolitan police, a 19-year-old man was struck by a automobile as he tried to cross Jap Avenue in a marked crosswalk close to Reno Avenue. He was transported to Dawn Hospital with life-threatening accidents. The crash was reported round 12:45 a.m.

The driving force, Gregory Pero, 45, was arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Heart on fees of DUI, reckless driving, and failing to lower pace or use due care, police mentioned.
