Man hospitalized with life-threatening accidents after northwest Las Vegas valley crash

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A person was hospitalized with life-threatening accidents Saturday afternoon after changing into trapped between a car and its door within the northwest Las Vegas valley, based on police.

Round 3 p.m., police responded to a non-public property within the 9600 block of Marigny Court docket close to North Grand Canyon Drive and Cheyenne Avenue after a report of an incident involving a car and a pedestrian.

Proof on the scene, witness statements and video proof confirmed {that a} lady was sitting within the driver’s seat of a car in an open storage of a residence and a person was standing subsequent to the motive force with the motive force’s door open.

The incident occurred when, for unknown causes, the car started to again out of the storage and down the driveway. The person turned trapped between the door and the car earlier than being knocked to the bottom, police stated.

The car then continued to reverse throughout the highway and crashed into a lightweight pole on the alternative aspect of the road, based on police.

The person was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening accidents, LVMPD stated.
