9-year-old suffers life-threatening accidents in electrical scooter crash in northwest Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A 9-year-old was hospitalized with life-threatening accidents after a crash involving an electrical scooter within the northwest Las Vegas valley.

On Tuesday round 10:20 a.m., police responded to the world of Cliff Shadows Parkway and Hickam Avenue after a report of a crash involving an electrical scooter.

Proof on the scene, witness statements and sprint digital camera footage confirmed that an electrical scooter, being ridden by two kids, was touring eastbound on Hickam Avenue on the identical time a Kia Sportage was touring southbound on Cliff Shadows Parkway.

The crash occurred when the youngsters did not cease at a cease signal and entered the trail of the Kia. The scooter crashed into the Kia, inflicting each kids to be ejected from the scooter, police mentioned.

Police mentioned a 9-year-old boy suffered life-threatening accidents and an 11-year-old woman sustained minor accidents. Each kids have been taken to a neighborhood hospital for his or her accidents.

The driving force of the Kia remained on the scene and didn’t present indicators of impairment.
