LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A classroom on wheels is giving kids in Las Vegas a powerful begin earlier than they ever set foot in kindergarten.
The Sturdy Begin Go Cell Pre-Ok is bringing early training straight into neighborhoods the place it’s wanted most.
“We know that a key to success in elementary school is entering kindergarten on time,” Metropolis of Las Vegas Director of Youth Growth and Social Initiatives Tammy Malich stated. “Kids who do not have formal preschool education often enter behind. Kids in lower economic areas often enter behind.”
That’s why the town launched Sturdy Begin Go Cell Pre-Ok, a free preschool program that brings studying to underserved communities.
This system launched again in 2019 with one cell classroom. It has since expanded to 2 lecture rooms on wheels with two extra coming quickly.
