LosVGK broadcasts 'Cascaritas' initiative aiming to develop hockey participation amongst Las Vegas Hispanic, Latino neighborhood

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Vegas Golden Knights introduced LosVGK’s launch of its “Cascaritas” initiative, aiming to advertise hockey participation among the many Hispanic and Latino neighborhood via pick-up video games throughout the valley.

In Latin America, Cascaritas are casual pick-up video games performed amongst households, pals and neighbors. By means of the “Cascaritas” initiative, LosVGK will present an inflatable rink, sticks, targets, balls and pinnies so all children should do is present up and benefit from the enjoyable whereas taking part in with others locally.

“Cascaritas are a fun and engaging way for people in Spanish-speaking cultures to build community, and they give us a great opportunity to promote the sport of hockey,” mentioned Benjamin Thomas, Vegas Golden Knights Director of Latino Advertising and marketing and Outreach. “Whether the kids we find already know the sport or are picking up a stick for the first time, this is a great chance for us to build upon the excitement of the Golden Knights’ playoff run and enjoy the beautiful spring weather in Vegas.”

The primary two Cascaritas are scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at Año Nuevo Mexica, Gary Reese Park, from 2 p.m. to six p.m., and Sunday, April 27 at Fiesta en el Parque Dia del Niño, Craig Ranch Park from 4 p.m. to eight p.m.

LosVGK will announce extra dates and places for future Cascaritas on its social media channels.
