Las Vegas college students chosen for Sphere Earth Day artwork contest

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – Eight fortunate college students had been chosen out of greater than 100,000 Clark County-based college students to create artwork for the Exosphere.

The scholars chosen vary from elementary faculty to school and can have their Earth Day-themed paintings displayed on a rotation foundation on the Exosphere all through the summer season.

Along with having their work displayed on the Exosphere, successful CCSD highschool and UNLV college students acquired a $10,000 academic scholarship from Sphere. Successful CCSD elementary and center faculty college students earned a $10,000 donation from Sphere for his or her faculty’s artwork program to additional artwork training in public colleges, together with tickets for the whole faculty to attend The Wizard of Oz at Sphere within the fall.
