Tupac homicide suspect requests retrial over juror points in battery case

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The person accused of orchestrating the homicide of Tupac Shakur, who a jury discovered responsible earlier this month for a jail struggle, needs a brand new trial, citing potential juror misconduct.

On April 9, a Clark County jury discovered Duane “Keffe D” Davis, 61, responsible for combating with one other inmate on the Clark County Detention Middle. The one-day trial concerned two costs.

In paperwork filed Friday, attorneys for Davis allege a number of jurors mentioned “about inmates fighting about how the little guy has to work harder to preserve his reputation” whereas awaiting lunch throughout a break.

Clark County District Court docket Choose Nadia Krall repeatedly informed the jury to not focus on the case throughout any break till jury deliberations.
