A part of Las Vegas interstate to shut for work on overpass bridge portray

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A part of a Las Vegas interstate will shut in a single day whereas work is accomplished on an overpass bridge portray within the northwest valley.

In line with a launch, Las Vegas Paving will shut the southbound lanes of I-11 between Skye Canyon Park and Durango drives in a single day beginning on Sunday, April 20.

The discharge mentioned closures will start at 9 p.m. on Sunday and reopen to site visitors at 5 a.m. on April 21.

Later that evening, northbound lanes between Skye Canyon Park and Durango will shut at 9 p.m. and reopen at 5 a.m. on April 22.

Throughout the closures, the Grand Teton overpass bridge might be painted.

Detour routes might be well-marked, the discharge mentioned. Northbound site visitors will exit at Durango Drive, go north on El Capitan Approach, west on Racel Avenue, then west on Sky Canyon Park Drive to the northbound freeway on-ramp. 

The town started work on an I-11 overpass at Grand Teton Drive on March 31, 2024.
