McConnell receives medical consideration after falling

Senate Republican Chief Mitch McConnell (Ky.) obtained medical consideration after falling following a Republican lunch assembly Tuesday.

A spokesman for McConnell mentioned the GOP chief tripped after the lunch. 

“He sustained a minor cut to the face and sprained his wrist. He has been cleared to resume his schedule,” the aide mentioned in an announcement.

McConnell was later seen on the Capitol with a brace on one wrist and a bandage on his face. Requested by reporters how he was feeling, McConnell responded, “good.”

The Kentucky Republican earlier within the day had been noticed strolling again to his Capitol workplace adopted by a medical group and escorted by Senate Republican Convention Chair John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), who hosted the lunch assembly.
