LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Get into the vacation season in Summerlin. The ninth Annual Vacation Parade returns to the streets of Downtown Summerlin with full of life music, snow, festive dancers, vacation characters, and extra.
“We are so thrilled to celebrate the season,” stated Halee Harczynski, senior advertising director for Downtown Summerlin. “Downtown Summerlin really is your holiday destination. Outside of shopping and dining, we have the Rock Rink for ice skating (and) we have our brand-new Santa Chalet, which is amazing.”
On the Santa Chalet, children can drop off letters to Santa and for each letter acquired, Downtown Summerlin will donate $1 to the Goodie Two Sneakers Basis which gives deprived youngsters with free socks, footwear, and different important objects.
Different vacation happenings embody a vacation prepare, gentle activations, and naturally, visits from Santa.
“We encourage people to get down here early, get your spot on the street, get some food, and just make a whole night of it,” stated Harczynski.
Downtown Summerlin’s Vacation Parade is held each Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. till Dec. 21. The magical occasion is free and open to the general public.
