LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A highway challenge connecting Mountain’s Edge, Southern Highlands and different surrounding areas within the south valley is almost full.

Angela Nosacek-Landerman and Lou Landerman first moved to the world 11 years in the past and have watched their neighborhood develop. They mentioned all of the roadwork is an indication of extra improvement.

“Definitely with the traffic trying to go down Rainbow right now can be a nightmare so having another option hopefully will cut that down,” Landerman defined. “We have to take the big loop around or go down Rainbow so we end up going to Windmill or something and going all the way across so it’ll be really handy to be able to go through that way.”
The bridge can even join Blue Diamond Highway and Jones Boulevard right down to Wigwam Highway, overlooking the practice tracks with extra visitors alerts, sidewalks and lighting.
“Getting to Blue Diamond right now is such a pain,” Nosacek-Landerman added. “It’ll be so nice to have a direct shot there rather than trying to do big loops to get to different areas of Blue Diamond, it’ll be really convenient and nice,”
Clark County expects the bridge to open summer time 2025.
