62-year-old man dies after E-bike crash in northwest Las Vegas valley

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A 62-year-old man has died after an E-bike crash within the northwest Las Vegas valley.

The crash occurred on Friday shortly after 2 p.m. on the intersection of Jones Boulevard and Elkhorn Street.

Las Vegas Metro police mentioned video of the collision indicated {that a} male was using his E-Bicycle, northbound on Jones Boulevard, north of the intersection with Elkhorn Street, in a chosen and marked bicycle lane.

In keeping with police, a 49-year-old man was driving an unregistered black 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe northbound on Jones Boulevard, north of the intersection with Elkhorn. For unknown causes, the driving force of the Chevrolet failed to stay in a marked journey lane, drifting to the best and occupying the bicycle lane south of the bicyclist.
