434-mile relay to Carson Metropolis honors fallen legislation enforcement officers; occasion begins April 23

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — An annual memorial run from Las Vegas to Carson Metropolis to honor legislation enforcement officers who’ve died within the line of obligation is scheduled to start Wednesday, April 23.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Division Undersheriff Andrew Walsh will lead the primary leg of the Regulation Enforcement Memorial Run — a relay that covers 434 miles over 4 days. The primary crew of runners start at Majestic Park, 9902 W. Gowan Street, close to Metro’s Northwest Space Command headquarters. The route usually goes east on Gowan to Durango Drive after which proceeds north to U.S. 95 and persevering with out of the valley towards Indian Springs.
