2 males drown throughout pontoon outing in Colorado River

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Two males drowned Sunday within the Colorado River south of Needles, California, the Mohave County Sheriff’s Workplace (MCSO) stated on Monday.

Authorities in Arizona and California responded to a name after two males went underwater close to the Topock Gorge. A diver from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Division discovered and retrieved each victims. Life-saving efforts didn’t revive them.

Anoop Gankidi, 32, of Tempe, Arizona, and Venkata Mukkaala, 32, of Milpitas, California, had been pronounced lifeless on the Colorado River Medical Middle in Needles.
