LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Vital Care Comics, a neighborhood nonprofit that brings costumed superheroes to brighten the times of kids in hospitals, has been named a recipient of a 2025 Neighborhood Grant from the Taco Bell Basis.
The Taco Bell Basis distributed a record-breaking $28 million in Neighborhood Grants this 12 months to almost 500 nonprofits nationwide. This system backs organizations that “think differently” whereas creating new alternatives for younger folks.
Vital Care Comics acquired $10,000 from the muse. The funding will assist the group’s work of delivering toys, comedian books, and smiles to younger sufferers throughout the Las Vegas valley.

Vital Care Comics was nominated for the grant by Ramon Montoya, Taco Bell Loss Prevention Supervisor with Diversified Restaurant Group. Outdoors of his position with DRG, Montoya fits up as Batman alongside CCC’s different volunteers.
“We believe that empowering young people is one of the most meaningful ways we can invest inthe future,” Lisa Lane Cardin, Government Director of the Taco Bell Basis, stated. “This recordinvestment is a testament to the power of community-driven change and the limitless potentialthat exists when we remove barriers and open doors.”
Every year, CCC reaches as much as 5,000 youngsters in hospitals throughout Las Vegas. With this grant, the nonprofit stated it’s going to proceed increasing its impression.
