$10,000 of stock stolen from west Las Vegas valley jewellery retailer, proprietor says

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A watch and jewellery retailer within the west Las Vegas valley was burglarized early Sunday morning, in response to its proprietor. Surveillance video captured the suspect, who was armed with a sledgehammer.

AJ Stein, proprietor of Asset Enchantment, situated on Flamingo Street close to Fort Apache Street, stated the suspect tried to enter by means of the entrance door, failed, after which broke the window.

“I always knew there was an inherent risk with having a retail watch and jewelry store and carrying the kind of jewelry that we do. I just didn’t expect it to happen here,” Stein stated ,

“I just had to turn away three customers this morning that were here at the door trying to make purchases,” he defined. “With everything going on, there’s no way we can feasibly take care of customers right now.”

The house owners sometimes lock up their stock in a secure each night time, except for two circumstances that maintain cheaper stock. These two circumstances had been stocked when the intruder got here. The suspect left some stock behind and was in there for about two minutes earlier than leaving, Stein stated.
