LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — One individual was killed after a crash within the south Las Vegas valley on Christmas Day.

On Wednesday round 12:40 a.m., Nevada State police responded to a report of a crash within the space of the 215 and the Windmill lane off-ramp. Police mentioned an Infinity G37 sedan was driving westbound on the 215 to go onto the westbound Windmill off-ramp at a velocity too quick for the situations.

The motive force of the Infinity failed to barter the curve, drove via the intersection of the 215 and Windmill, and crashed right into a concrete barrier wall. After crashing into the wall, the Infinity hit a Volkswagen Tiguan SUV that was driving eastbound, trying to make a left flip onto westbound 215, police mentioned.

The motive force of the Infinity was pronounced useless on the scene.

The motive force of the Volkswagen remained on the scene and cooperated with officers.
